Beaver Creek held its homecoming on Sunday, October 17, 1982. Rev. William Gleaton gave the homecoming message, Rev. Rigby Wolfe was a special guest, and a picnic lunch followed. The new church building was dedicated afterwards and Rev. Jimmy Fanning was speaker. The Burleson Family, Beverly Walling, and the Beaver Creek Singers provided special music. George Robbie Chavis, one of the oldest living founders of Beaver Creek attended. Note: The caption below the image of George Robbie Chavis states he is one of Beaver Creek’s oldest living founders.
